DESCRIPTION: APW - Hamilton, Grade 993 marked "Special," 21J, 16S, 14K multicolor gold box hinge original HC with spectacular rose gold buck's head to rear surrounded by multicolor floral detail, front with rose gold initialed shield surrounded by multicolor floral detail, gold cuvette engraved "Wm Kokko," white enamel DS dial, SW-LS, fully capped lever escapement, two-tone gilt and nickel damascene, s#743345. Gross weight of assembled watch 67.2 dwt (104.5 g). An exquisite example of this rare watch with a magnificent multicolor gold box hinge hunting case and with its movement having superb preservation of its two-tone color and luster. CONDITION: Mvt: Running, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, superb two-tone color, very small spot to plate near third wheel jewel setting, very few minuscule spots to surfaces elsewhere; dial with light outer chapter hl near 4, small edge chip under bezel at setting lever; virtually mint hands; case shows no wear, small nick to lower left perimeter of front, exquisite crisp engraving detail; tight bow, crown shows hardly any wear; good glass crystal.
